Creating the new gold standard in wearable sensing

Our patented speckle sensor ALIS® offers advanced possibilities in remote monitoring.

Creating the new gold standard

Our speckle sensor is the solution for reliable remote monitoring.

How does it work?

ALIS® is Praxa Sense’s innovative speckle-based sensing platform. By measuring physiological signals beyond those captured by conventional optical biosensors, ALIS® adds a new data layer that enables the monitoring of additional biomarkers.

Initial research also indicates that ALIS® may perform more reliably in challenging measurement conditions, including areas with low perfusion, such as the foot.

Further validation is ongoing, with a particular focus on performance across different skin tones, low-perfusion conditions and the potential for continuous blood pressure monitoring.

How does it work?

Our innovative SPG sensor solves the issues of traditional biosensors: It is robust in motion, works on darker skin colors and measures an additional layer of data in the form of blood speed along with blood volume.

This extra layer of data unlocks additional biomarkers that can be monitored. It opens up possibilities for measuring new biomarkers remotely, particularly those related to cardiac health.
