Introduction

We are Praxa Sense, an ambitious MedTech/DeepTech startup based in Delft. Our mission is to revolutionize remote patient monitoring with our unique biosensor, ALIS™. 

ALIS™ addresses key challenges faced by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) with current sensors, offering superior performance in motion and on darker skin tones. In addition to traditional biomarkers, ALIS™ measures blood pressure non-invasively, in a micro-miniaturized form-factor suitable for wearables and smart-watches. 

We form a close team with large ambitions and a diverse skill set. We operate in a flat organizational structure where both professionalism and a friendly atmosphere are key. 

We have a strong international pipeline with 15-20 customers eager to purchase our first sensor evaluation kit and integrate our technology into their devices. We’re seeking an experienced business developer to nurture these relationships, expand our global reach, and drive conversions from interest to signed contracts. 

How you will make an impact:

  • You are in the lead to drive conversions from interest to solid contracts. You make sure that wearable manufacturers will want to switch from traditional technology to our ALIS™ sensor. 
  • You build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with customers across the US, Europe, and Asia. 
  • You conduct customer visits to foster connections and demonstrate the capabilities of our sensor system. 
  • You grow Praxa Sense’s customer base by (amongst others) attending events and fairs to showcase our products. 
  • You collaborate with the Management Team on commercial strategy, defining offerings, timing, and pricing for each product iteration. 

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience: Minimum of 3 years in business development and sales. 
  • Natural commercial insight: Strong instinct for identifying and seizing opportunities. 
  • Negotiation expertise: Skilled in principled negotiation with a track record of success. 
  • Creative deal-making: Ability to craft innovative agreements. 
  • Data- and market-driven: Uses insights to inform decisions and strategy. 
  • Global perspective: International mindset with preferably a well-established network. 
  • Strong relationship builder: Effective networker and communicator. 
  • Language proficiency: Multilingual skills are a plus (e.g., German for DACH, French for France, and English of course). 
  • CRM proficiency: Maintains high-quality CRM with ease. 
  • Self-motivated: Works independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Technically curious: Interested in learning about new technologies. 
  • Innovation-driven: Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments. 
  • Technical background: Not required but advantageous.
